New Vectron Locomotive Deliveries for Northrail

The agreement also includes the option to purchase thirty-five additional locomotives. Additionally, the contract covers extended maintenance, which will be provided using the Railigent X platform.

The contract signing coincided with the delivery of the fortieth Vectron Dual Mode locomotive to the customer. This locomotive operates using both an overhead power supply and a diesel generator.

Expanding Partnership with Siemens Mobility

This agreement strengthens a partnership that has been ongoing for over ten years. Northern European operators actively use Siemens locomotives for their transportation needs.

As a result, Siemens Mobility has received a total of 103 locomotive orders. In total, the company has delivered over 2,600 units.

These locomotives are in operation across twenty European countries. Their combined mileage has exceeded one billion kilometers, proving their reliability.
