On the outdoor area, Siemens Mobility plans to demonstrate:

  • A high-speed Velaro train family, specially adapted for operation in Egypt’s hot climate, where a new high-speed rail line is currently under construction.
  • The Mireo Smart regional train, produced in various configurations to reduce costs and accelerate delivery. Mireo Smart can be presented as a contactless battery, hydrogen, or electric train. Two such trains are expected to be shown, one of which will be presented by Smart Train Lease, a leasing company founded by Siemens.
  • The Vectrain shuttle passenger train, including a Vectron locomotive with a maximum speed of up to 230 km/h, an end carriage with a control cabin, and standardized Vectouro passenger cars. These trains offer flexible configuration and can be used for cross-border transport.
  • One or more locomotives from the Vectron family, available in single-system or multi-system electric variants, including those with combined drive systems.

Siemens Mobility’s booth will also feature innovative components such as bogies, brake systems without pneumatic elements, traction and auxiliary converters based on silicon carbide, synchronous motors with permanent magnets and integrated gearboxes.

A central focus of the exhibition will be digital technologies, including the Xcelerator ecosystem and cloud-based JAT systems.

Special attention will be given to the Train2Cloud system—a cutting-edge solution for train control via radio channel (CBTC) using 5G radio communication, developed for urban and suburban rail transport.
