The Swedish company has halted train services
11.01.2024
The Swedish transport company, Green Cargo, has suspended cargo deliveries to the continent due to a strike by German railway workers, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The strike has impacted Green Cargo’s international shipments, leading to a restriction on exporting volumes through Malmo, as stated in the announcement.
Typically, the number of trains in both export and import directions amounts to a two-digit figure.
Among other things, they transport spare parts, such as those for the automotive industry, and raw materials from Europe.
As reported earlier, the strike by German train drivers is expected to last until the evening of January 12th.
