Eesti Raudtee management decided to change the head of the company

The company will hold elections for the new head of the Estonian state railway company Eesti Raudtee, as Railway Supply reports citing Gudok.

The company will announce an open tender for the selection of a new head of Estonian Railways. Eric Laidvee will leave office on December 31, 2020.

“The planned change of the Chairman of the Management Board is primarily related to the renewal of the owner’s expectations and the desire of the Supervisory Board to focus more on creating the conditions necessary to attract international trade flows to Estonia,” said Chairman of the Supervisory Board Sven Pertens.
