Equipped with an LTE module and a technical vision system comprising cameras and lidars, the robot aims to inspect track conditions in extreme weather or situations posing a risk to the safety of human staff.
The robot is set to undergo practical testing by the end of the year, with Korail planning to commence its commercial operation in 2024.
