The onset of winter has complicated travel across short and long distances in Poland, with trains experiencing significant delays, reports the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to Nakolei Pl.

Delays from Przemysl to Gdynia were 62 minutes, and from Wroclaw to Przemysl, a delay of 110 minutes.
Freezing rain and snow caused ice accumulation on the overhead lines, disrupting electric transport.
Issues also arose in Greater Poland, including a 230-minute delay for a train from Poznan to Ustka.
Authorities are monitoring the railway situation, and efforts are underway to restore normal operations.
In Yashuv on Sunday, two railway workers clearing snow from the tracks were hit by a train, possibly due to reduced visibility caused by the snow.
One man, a 64-year-old resident of Svidnik, was fatally struck, while the other was thrown off the tracks and is hospitalized with injuries, according to a representative of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Lublin.
