Helaba is providing DB Regio with a financing package of 245 million euros for a 24-year term to acquire 12 Stadler Kiss electric trains, as reported by the railway portal Railway Supply.

Stadler delivers Kiss trains to Serbia

In addition to this, the package includes the acquisition of three Flirt XL electric trains through long-term leasing contracts with Deutsche Anlagen-Leasing.

The UK Launches Its First Battery-Powered Trains

These trains will be used on routes Netz Nord-Süd Stralsund – Halle (Saale) and Rostock – Berlin starting from December 2026.
