Poland is interested in the Odessa-Gdansk intermodal corridor
16.06.2021
PKP Cargo, a Polish operator, has high hopes for the creation of the Baltic Sea – Black Sea intermodal corridor. The reason for this is the increase in cargo turnover in the Odessa port.

Poland plans to use the terminal in Medyk for container handling. It is the strengthening of container traffic with Ukraine that is seen as a priority in Poland, reports Railway Supply magazine, citing Railinsider.
PKP Cargo also said that the trade turnover between Poland and Ukraine in that year amounted to almost $ 7.5 billion, which makes Ukraine an important player in the freight transport market. And that’s not counting Turkey, which can also use the transit potential of our country.
