Polregio boasted record transport results for the first quarter of 2023. In the first three months of this year, almost 24 million passengers used the services of the carrier. This is almost 30% more than in the same period last year, Railway Supply reports citing Rynek Kolejowy.

The best results were recorded in January, when more than 8 million people traveled on the company’s trains, compared with 5.5 million passengers in January 2022, representing a growth of 50%.

In January, the company achieved a 15% better result compared to January 2019, which so far was a record for the entire railway. The upward trend also continues in February and March. Polregio plans to continue this trend and exceed 100 million passengers this year.
