It is expected that the modernized cars will meet Combo standards, including amenities for passengers with limited mobility and families with children.
The replacement of bogies will improve speed and smoothness of travel, allowing trains to reach speeds of up to 160 km/h.
This contract follows a previous agreement with Remtrak for the modernization of 45 cars, as well as a successful tender in which H. Cegielski – Fabryka Pojazdów Szynowych outpaced the competitor Pesa.
As a result of these efforts, the railway network will be equipped with modern and comfortable cars, contributing to the improvement of passenger services.
