Pandrol hosted a Mongolian delegation

French railway technology and solutions company, Pandrol, hosted a Mongolian delegation at its Worksop facility in the United Kingdom to foster closer bilateral relations, according to the railway portal Railway Supply.
The delegation, consisting of 45 Mongolian representatives and parliamentarians, is visiting the United Kingdom from June 18th to 24th, 2023, with the aim of strengthening international cooperation and collaboration in the railway sector.

This visit from Mongolia is a result of a long-standing history between the two countries, including a 2019 agreement that governs a long-term partnership agreement between Pandrol and the supply of rail fastening systems to Mongolia, as well as Pandrol’s recent work on the Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait railway.
During the trip, which is funded by the British Embassy, the delegation will learn about the UK’s railway industry experience, studying various solutions that underpin the railway sector.
Tax exemptions aid in financing Brazilian railway projects
For the important Tavantolgoi-Gashuunsukhait railway project, covering 240 kilometers of track, the Pandrol team was able to offer universal and reliable welding solutions with enhanced virtual training and an automated welding system (HFP).
Pandrol’s Worksop factory oversees the production process of rail fastenings and clip isolators, characterized by the electrification of advanced robotic manufacturing and suitable for heavy-duty transportation.
