On-Board MainLine System for Railroad Obstacle Detection

Israeli company Rail Vision has signed a $500,000 contract with a Latin American mining company for the delivery of the MainLine on-board system, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.
This system is equipped with infrared and optical sensors, artificial intelligence, and peripheral computing.
MainLine sensors are capable of detecting obstacles within a range of up to 2 km in any conditions.

This will enhance safety and provide crucial decision-making information for the mining company.
Rail Vision will also offer consulting and personnel training.
Previously, Rail Vision had entered contracts for system trials in Switzerland, the United States, and Israel.
They are also involved in the development of obstacle detection systems for unmanned heavy trains in Western Australia.
