Argus track inspection system capabilities

Mounted directly on railway equipment, Argus Track Measurement Technology continuously measures track conditions during train operations and detects abnormalities in real time. Developed by rail engineering company Holland LP, the system collects 15 types of track geometry and rail profile measurements.

The Central Texas & Colorado River was dormant from 2019 until OmniTRAX restored operations earlier this year to serve unit trains carrying aggregates. The railway currently operates 49 miles of track and interchanges with BNSF Railway at Lometa, Texas.
