DB and Siemens have unveiled an updated interior design for the ICE 3neo train, this is reported by the railway transport news portal, Railway Supply.

This electric train marks the 17th in its series but features significant interior changes for the first time.

The train now boasts adjustable seats with improved back support, upholstered in high-quality materials, including 85% wool, and adorned with decorative wooden elements.

The first-class cabins feature warm gray tones, while the second-class cabins are adorned in blue, and the restaurant car showcases a burgundy red theme.

The updated interior design is in line with the aesthetics of new passenger service centers and DB business lounges.

Siemens has a total order of 90 ICE 3neo trains, set to be in operation by 2028.

These trains are designed to reach speeds of up to 300 km/h.

A similar interior design is planned for the new locomotive-powered ICE L trains ordered from Talgo, with the first one to be delivered to DB by the end of 2024.

These changes will enhance comfort and style for passengers.
