Nokia and Siemens Mobility are joining forces to provide communication along the automated metro line in Sydney

The Western Sydney Airport line in Sydney will feature an advanced IP/MPLS telecommunications network and Nokia NetGuard Cybersecurity system, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
These innovative technologies will ensure the seamless operation of critical systems such as train management and surveillance.
Skoda Group manufactures tram assemblies for Germany
The automated metro line, spanning 23 kilometers with six stations, will be equipped with 12 driverless trains.
Initiated in 2020, this project connects Sydney with the new international airport and is scheduled for completion by 2026.
Siemens Mobility serves as the system integrator for this project, ensuring its successful implementation and safe operation.
