For six months of 2021, 3 thousand 568 freight wagons were repaired in the wagon depots of the regional branch “Odessa Railway” of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”.

In particular, according to the railway magazine Railway Supply , the lion’s share has been renewed by depot repairs – 2 thousand 812 units. Of the specified number of freight wagons, the following were repaired:

970 gondola cars, 829 grain carriers, 439 tanks, 248 fitting platforms, 326 other wagon types

Over this period, 756 cars were overhauled, including 203 gondola cars, 69 tanks, 91 fitting platforms, 393 others.

Most of the rolling stock was repaired in the wagon depot of Znamenka – 939 units, in second place is the wagon depot im. T. Shevchenko – 900, depots Pomoshnaya and Kherson – 745 and 607, respectively. Smaller volumes are in the Podolsk wagon depot (377). As previously reported, in the first quarter, the Odessa railway repaired more than 1.5 thousand freight wagons.
