According to Siemens Mobility Canada CEO Yves Desjardins-Siciliano, the partnership will help modernize public transit with clean and smart rail technology. He emphasized that the new trains offer a reliable and pleasant travel experience for passengers.

The Charger models reduce particulate matter by 95% and overall emissions by 89% compared to Tier 0 locomotives. These improvements also align with Canada’s environmental regulations and climate targets.
