As part of this project, Hitachi Rail will handle design, installation, and setup of an ETCS Level 1 control system. This system will streamline communication between trains and stations, increasing safety and station capacity.

Markus Fritz, Chief Operating Officer of Hitachi Rail in Germany, emphasized the importance of this project for the company’s growth in Europe. He highlighted that this modernization will provide significant benefits, improving passenger safety and travel comfort.
