Gatwick Express will operate fewer trains throughout the weekend, so passengers should expect delays and schedule changes on routes to the airport.

From Sunday to Monday, trains between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central will stop running. Network Rail crews will work on embankment reinforcement, track renewal, and drainage upgrades to improve infrastructure.

London Underground services will also be disrupted. The District Line will not run between Edgware Road/Embankment and Ealing Broadway, Kensington (Olympia), Richmond, and Wimbledon on Saturday and Sunday.

Circle and Jubilee Line Impacts in London

Circle Line trains will remain suspended all weekend between Edgware Road and Tower Hill via Victoria. On the Jubilee Line, Southwark station will stay closed until Tuesday, affecting connections to central London locations.

DLR services from Saturday to Monday will not operate between Westferry/Poplar and Lewisham, and between Stratford International and Canning Town. Travelers should check alternate routes in advance.

Overground and Elizabeth Line Closures in London

On Sunday, there will be no Overground service on the Lioness Line. On Monday, Euston to Willesden Junction service will also be unavailable, further limiting Overground options for London travelers.

The Elizabeth Line will run a reduced service between Paddington and Heathrow/Maidenhead on Sunday. Passengers heading to the airport are advised to allow more time and monitor live updates.

Transport officials emphasize that these temporary closures are essential to improve London’s rail infrastructure. Passengers are encouraged to check schedules before departure and use available alternatives.
