This time, the M62-1291 locomotive is being auctioned. According to Delfi, the starting price for the lot is €94,000, with a bidding increment of €5,000.

The auction is scheduled for August 29. This is not LDz Cargo’s first attempt to sell its locomotives. Previously, the company failed to sell two locomotives and 66 wagons in Ukraine.

This sale is part of LDz Cargo’s strategy to optimize its rolling stock and improve its financial situation.

The auction presents an opportunity to acquire a reliable locomotive at an attractive price.

It is expected that both private and corporate buyers will show interest in this lot.

Such auctions highlight active movement in the railway equipment market and emphasize the ongoing trend of renewal and modernization.
