This will enable flexible responses to customer demands and participation in turnkey metro projects, including exports.
Scheduled for completion by 2028, the project will not only be a significant milestone in India’s infrastructure development but also a demonstration of the Make in India program principles.
The company is also actively constructing a factory in Dahod for locomotive production and supplying power supply and dispatching systems for metro lines in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Surat as part of a consortium with Indian RVNL.
These steps allow Siemens Mobility to strengthen its position in the Indian market and make a significant contribution to the country’s development by providing modern transportation solutions and creating new job opportunities.
