General Director of Lithuanian Railways (LTG) Mantas Bartushkas has resigned. Following the decision to resign, the LTG board appointed Egidijus Lazauskas as the new interim CEO.

This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply with reference to LTG Cargo Lazauskas joined the LTG management team in 2017 and served as CEO of LTG Cargo.

He played an important role in crisis management and international expansion of the company. Lazauskas will be LTG’s CEO until a new CEO is elected.

At the same time, the company will appoint a new interim CEO of LTG Cargo.

LTG Cargo Ukraine will lease two diesel locomotives to the Agro-Region concern
