LDz Cargo sells locomotives and wagons at auction: Starting price from €102,000

The subsidiary of the state joint-stock company Latvijas dzelzceļš (LDz) — SIA “LDz Cargo” — has announced the sale of two TEP70 series locomotives through an open auction, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The starting price for the first locomotive is set at €102,000, and for the second at €112,000.

The bid increment for the auction is €5,000. The auction will take place on August 13, starting at 10:00.
Additionally, 66 freight wagons located in Ukraine are up for sale.
This lot includes covered wagons and cement wagons, manufactured between 1985 and 1991.
The starting price for this lot is €660,000, with a bid increment of €5,000. The auction will begin on August 13 at 14:00.
Previously, SIA “LDz Cargo” held an auction for the sale of two locomotives, with a total price of €214,000.
