Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov at a meeting with the head of the Kryukovsky Railcal Building Plant Vladimir Prikhodko promised to conclude a contract for 100 new railcars by the end of the month.

The purchase is planned to be carried out through a negotiation procedure, that is, without a tender, informs railway magazine Railway Supply

However, it is worth noting that, according to the law, UZ must hold two tenders to apply the negotiation procedure. Now UZ has tried to conduct only one.

KVSZ told how to improve the situation with domestic railcar building

Also, during the meeting, the minister promised to clarify the issue of purchasing 5 diesel trains, which were not paid by UZ. Now the plant has already manufactured two trains at its own expense, and the third is planned to be produced by the Independence Day.

At a meeting with the head of the plant, Vladimir Prikhodko, the minister raised the issue of implementing the City Express program in Kharkiv. There, together with Poltava, they plan to create a separate passenger company and KVSZ is ready to take part in its creation.
