On May 12 in Tehran, railway officials from China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, and Turkey approved unified transport conditions. Senior executives, including Sun Xiude and Jabbar Ali Zakeri, took part in the meeting.

As a result, the parties confirmed the delivery time between Chengdu in China and Łódź in Poland at 40 days. This duration is seen as competitive compared to alternative routes.

Container Transit Gains Unified Tariff and Logistic Support

Participants emphasized the need for stable and transparent tariffs and expressed readiness to jointly promote the route in the global logistics market.

They also agreed to coordinate actions to make the corridor more attractive for shippers and operators, especially as demand for southern routes grows.

Container Transit to Strengthen Eurasian Transport Cooperation

The agreement enhances transit potential between Asia and Europe, reduces pressure on northern routes, and promotes regional integration.

All countries reaffirmed their commitment to developing the corridor further, including infrastructure upgrades and faster border procedures.
