China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan have signed an agreement on the construction of a railway

The signing ceremony took place in Beijing, outlining the key principles and mechanisms for financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the railway line, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Transport of Kyrgyzstan, Tilek Tekebayev, the Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Makhkamov, and the Chairman of China’s State Committee for Development and Reform, Zheng Shangze.
Previously, it was reported that a joint venture to undertake the construction of the ‘China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan’ railway would be established in June 2024.
