Upon receiving a request from the client, specialists from the physical-mechanical and chemical-analytical testing laboratory and the design department start working.

Two processes run in parallel – while the laboratory develops the mixture formulation and tests the material for compliance with key parameters (hardness, elongation at break, strength, abrasion resistance, frost resistance, etc.), the designers develop drawings for molds or dies so that the geometry of the final product fully corresponds to the declared parameters.

Once the designers complete their work on the drawings, toolmakers take over.

The tooling department of Kievguma consists of qualified specialists working on high-precision modern equipment.

Every month, Kievguma produces several dozen new dies for non-molded products and about a dozen new molds for molded products! Several tons of tool steel pass through the department during this process!

Next, the production workshops take over. It is here, in production, that the blank turns into a new unique product created by Kievguma specialists.

The stable quality of the products at each stage of production is controlled by specialists from the technical control department.
