The Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) railway company is implementing an innovative tender for hydrogen fuel storage, developed by HGmotive, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Trials commenced in November 2023, marking a shift towards alternative fuels for locomotives and a reduction in harmful emissions.

The tender complies with safety standards set by regulatory bodies, and an increase in its capacity is expected to be completed by mid-2025, ushering in a new era in the transportation industry.
