High-speed trains for PKP Intercity

A tender for the purchase of high-speed trains for PKP Intercity will take place soon, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.
According to the rolling stock strategy, PKP Intercity aims to have 43 trains capable of reaching speeds up to 250 km/h by the year 2030.

The carrier will soon announce a tender for the supply of such transportation vehicles.
PKP Intercity aims to have well-prepared documents for the procedure to attract as many proposals as possible, ensuring the best price.
The procurement of rolling stock is PKP Intercity’s response to the infrastructure manager’s statement about increasing the speed on the main railway line to 250 km/h by December 2025.
