The Deutschland-Ticket is often referred to as the “49-euro ticket” because of its price. It costs 49 euros per month and can be used for any local transport in Germany.

Before departure, if needed, verify whether you can use the Deutschland-Ticket for your journey and if so, how.

Additionally, the Deutschland-Ticket is not valid on transport vehicles primarily used for tourist or historical purposes.

Ukraine at Euro 2024

Despite Russian aggression, the Ukrainian national football team has made it to the final round!

Ukraine has been drawn opponents for the group stage and has been placed in Group E with Belgium, Slovakia, and Romania.

The Ukrainian football team will start the championship with a match against Romania on June 17th. The first-round encounter will take place in Munich.

Following that, the Ukrainian national team will play at the stadiums in Dusseldorf (against Slovakia on June 21st) and Stuttgart (against Belgium on June 26th) in the second and third rounds respectively.

Euro 2024 is indeed one of the standout sporting events of this year!

Germany will warmly welcome football fans to Euro 2024, which will take place from June 14th to July 14th, 2024. This will be the 17th tournament held under the auspices of UEFA.

Germany was selected as the host country for the tournament on September 27th, 2018, beating out Turkey’s bid. The country already has experience hosting major international football tournaments!

The tournament will feature 24 teams competing in 10 cities across Germany. Among them are well-known cities such as Berlin, Munich, Dortmund, Stuttgart, and Leipzig. Matches will be held at famous stadiums, including the Olympic Stadium in Berlin and the Allianz Arena in Munich.

The tournament format includes a group stage, where teams will be divided into six groups of four teams each.

At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from each group, as well as the four best third-placed teams, will advance to the round of 16. This will be followed by the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final, which will take place on July 14th in Berlin.
