The EU has imposed sanctions on the Russian railway operator PJSC “TransContainer” and its CEO, Mikhail Kontserev, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

According to the railway container operator ranking prepared by InfraNews, “TransContainer” consistently ranks first, maintaining nearly three times the volume of the second place.
The volume of container shipments by “TransContainer” in the first five months of 2024 exceeded 1 million TEU.
