WSP Global has announced a definitive agreement to acquire UK engineering consultancy Ricardo for approximately $490 million, including debt, with the transaction expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025. This is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Ricardo, headquartered in the United Kingdom, employs over 2,700 professionals and operates in more than 20 countries across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia. The company focuses on engineering and strategy services for the rail, energy, and automotive sectors.
