During the WAVES 2025 Summit in Mumbai, Western Railway signed a formal agreement with Green Gold Animation Pvt. Ltd., creators of Chhota Bheem. This agreement marked the official start of the safety drive.

Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer, emphasized the importance of engaging children. He said the partnership allows the railway to deliver life-saving messages through characters that kids already trust and love.

Spreading Railway Safety for Children Through Animation

By using Chhota Bheem in posters, TV spots, and educational outreach, the campaign brings railway safety messages into homes and schools. The storytelling approach helps children absorb lessons in a fun and relatable way.

Officials believe this model will leave a lasting impression. It transforms safety into an accessible concept, especially for children who often mimic behaviors seen online or on social platforms.

Western Railway’s Broader Vision for Safer Travel

This project fits into Western Railway’s wider public safety mission. The team wants to foster a long-term culture of awareness while reducing preventable incidents across the network.

A senior official noted that when children understand rules, they influence entire families. Western Railway believes this child-centered approach can help shift mindsets and reduce dangerous habits at their root.

By combining trusted characters with real-world education, the initiative delivers a compelling and proactive method to promote railway safety for children throughout India.
