The materials will be used in a railway project that will link Bandirma, Bursa and Osmaneli in the northwestern region of the country.

Within the framework of the project, a double-track high-speed line with a capacity of up to 250 km/h will be built. The goal is to reduce travel times for passengers and goods. The delivery of Vossloh products is expected to be completed in almost four years, starting next year.

In the coming years, Turkey plans to implement several large-scale infrastructure projects with a focus on expanding its rail network, especially the high-speed one. Although tenders have been announced for many projects, others are currently in the planning stage.

Vossloh has previously supplied rail fastening systems and turnouts on numerous Turkish high-speed railways, including the Ankara-Konya high-speed line.

In August this year, Vossloh Nordic Switch Systems AB signed a comprehensive framework contract with Bane NOR in Norway for the supply of railway infrastructure components.
