Ukrzaliznytsia has paid 3.8 billion UAH of land tax
Ukrzaliznytsia, contrary to European practice, paid 3.8 billion UAH of land tax, reports Railway Supply magazine, citing Magistral.

The monopolist continues to insist on the abolition or real reduction of the land tax, which the company pays to the state since 2019 (the amount of UAH 4 billion per year is approximately 135 compartment cars of Ukrainian production or about 13 new trains).
UZ could use these money to upgrade the railway infrastructure and replace critically outdated rolling stock.
