Two Polregio trains collided in Poland

On Thursday, around 7:00 AM, two Polregio trains collided near the Gdynia-Główna station. This information was reported by Railway Supply magazine, citing Raport Kolejowy.

According to information provided by emergency services, the accident resulted in injuries to 4 individuals, including members of the railway crew.

Specialized medical assistance has been provided to all of them. One of the engineers and a train conductor are still in the hospital undergoing further diagnostics.

At the scene of the incident, efforts are being made by the authorities to restore transportation in the area.

The crew of the Polregio train is also participating in the operation to assist passengers.

Detailed circumstances and the causes of the crash are being investigated on-site by the police, the prosecutor, and the State Commission for the Investigation of Railway Accidents.
