DP World TIS Pivdennyi container terminal will start serving the new Black Sea service in partnership with the Turkish container line Akkon Lines.

Turkish container line Akkon Lines starts at DP World TIS Pivdennyi

The first vessel to the terminal is expected in the first ten days of September. This regular weekly service will provide direct and fast connections between the container terminal at Yuzhny and the key Turkish ports of Ambarli and Gebze.

HHLA’s Odessa terminal increased container handling in the first half of the year

Shorter and more flexible routes will speed up maritime logistics between DP World TIS Pivdennyi and Turkey and make it easier for Ukrainian businesses to enter other Turkish ports, in particular Gemlik, Mersina and Aliaga.

As a result, Ukrainian cargo owners will be able to get additional convenient access to the Black Sea, Mediterranean and North African markets: the Romanian port of Constanta, the Spanish Valencia, Barcelona and Castellon, the Italian Salerno and Genoa, the Tunisian Sousa and Bizerte, the Algerian Annaba and other ports.
