The volume of internal container transport in Uzbekistan has grown to 177.2 thousand tons
12.01.2024
According to the Multimodal Transportation Technologies, an expert in railroad transportation, in 2023, the container trains of the company ‘Temiryulkargo’ in Uzbekistan completed 201 trips, which is twice as much as in 2022.
During this period, they delivered 7,566 containers with a total weight of 177.2 thousand tons of cargo.
The increase in container freight volumes is attributed, in part, to the launch of three new routes: ‘Tashkent – Jizzakh,’ ‘Tashkent – Samarkand,’ and ‘Tashkent – Bukhara.’
