According to information provided by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Railway, a China-Europe freight train carrying 50 containers of auto parts, household appliances, daily necessities and other goods left the Korgas border crossing today. Thus, the number of China-Europe freight trains entering and leaving through 2 border points of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China exceeded 10,000.

The number of China-Europe freight trains arriving and departing through the border gate between January and September of this year shows a steady upward trend. Since the beginning of 2022, the number of China-Europe freight trains entering and leaving through the Alatav border crossing has reached an average of 17 per day, and through the Korgas border crossing – an average of 19 freight trains per day.

To date, there are 19 fixed rail lines carrying over 200 categories of goods reaching 57 countries and regions in these two rail ports.
