The German freight operator HSL Logistik has acquired a Euro9000 locomotive manufactured by Stadler, this is reported by the railway transport news portal Railway Supply.

Locomotive number 2019 314 is the third locomotive of this series in HSL’s fleet, following the existing 2019 307 and 2019 308. Two more are currently in production.

The Euro9000 locomotive is authorized to operate in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and will also obtain the necessary permits for operation in Italy.

One of the features of this locomotive is its ability to be controlled remotely via radio remote control.

This means it can move cargo using remote control, significantly increasing flexibility and operational efficiency.
