As part of a contract to supply 20 trams to Kyiv, financed by the European Investment Bank, Tatra-Yug sent the first one to the capital.

Tatra-Yug has delivered its first low-floor tram to Kyiv

The tram had previously passed successful tests in Dnipro and received all the necessary certification documents, informs railway magazine  Railway Supply

“Representatives of the customer were present at the tests and highly appreciated the tram. In addition, the Dnipro authorities also appreciated the new Tatra-Yug model, the company said.

It was also reported that this model (K-1T306) under a contract with Kyiv will be located in the Darnytsya depot and most likely serve the route №28 after commissioning.
