Stadler has become the sole participant in the competition announced in February by the regional transport operator EAV of Naples for the supply of 16 electric trains for narrow-gauge lines, according to Railway Supply, citing Stadler.

It is expected that the contract will be signed by the end of June, and the delivery of the rolling stock will commence in 2025.

Additionally, the realization of an option for another 44 trains is envisaged.

In May, Stadler also received an order for 8 three-car electric locomotives Euro6000 for Captrain Spain and one Euro6000 for RailAdventure in Germany.
