The electric train is equipped with a powerful traction system, allowing it to overcome steep sections at speeds of up to 60 km/h.

For the convenience of passengers with reduced mobility, the front cars are equipped with dedicated spaces for wheelchairs and fold-out ramps.

The train also features storage spaces for bicycles, luggage, and strollers located near the entrance doors, making the journey comfortable and accessible.

Under the contract, Stadler will supply 12 trains: 4 three-car units ABe 6/12 with a length of 48.9 m and 95 seats, and 4 four-car units ABe 8/16 with a length of 63.4 m and 128 seats for the Swiss company FART.

The remaining 4 four-car trains ABe 8/16 will be delivered to the Italian company SSIF.

The new trains are designed to improve the quality of passenger transport on challenging mountain routes, where every element of the design plays a crucial role in ensuring safety and comfort.
