Sinara – Transport Machines Group manufactured 14 PSS-1K self-propelled snow-clearing trains in 2020 for Russian Railways JSC, reports Railway Supply magazine with a referrence to the manufacturer’s website.

This rolling stock is used for clearing snow from railway tracks, loading snow into a body with a capacity of 460 cubic meters, followed by unloading in designated places. PSS-1K trains have been produced at the Vereshchagin plant “Remputmash” since 2013. In total, the company manufactured 154 units of this type of equipment.
