Siemens Supplied Trains for Depot and Routes

Since December 2024, Mireo trains operate on Nuremberg to Plattling routes and back. The operator upgraded the Regensburg depot, because it maintains the new trains there.

Each Mireo train reaches speeds up to 160 km/h and seats 216 passengers comfortably. The interiors feature multifunctional zones, luggage shelves, and free Wi-Fi access for all.

Trains include real-time passenger information systems and accessibility features for people with limited mobility. Special window glazing improves cell signal reception, so comfort remains high.

Currently, agilis operates 23 Mireo trains from Siemens for regional transportation needs efficiently. Additionally, the operator’s fleet includes 26 Coradia Continental trains from Alstom.

New Mireo trains enhanced the transport network of Regensburg and Danube Valley significantly. The operator keeps expanding routes, because passenger demand continues to grow steadily.
