Sappers of the State Special Transport Service, together with the railway workers, clear the infrastructure of Ukraine

Employees of the State Special Transport Service and employees of Ukrzaliznytsia are working on demining the tracks.
This is reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply.
Railway workers check infrastructure, analyze damage, plan restoration work. They are assisted by engineering and sapper units of the State Special Transport Service.
Currently, the railway tracks and the adjacent territory have been surveyed on the Svyatoshyn-Klavdiyevo section of the South-Western Railway. In the field, along the railway tracks, a burnt enemy KamAZ with artillery ammunition was found. It had 178 100 mm rounds and 200 fuses.

At the same time, residents of the city of Irpen turned to the sappers with a request to neutralize the projectile in the residential building. At the specified address, the group found a FAB-250 aerial bomb. A land mine weighing 250 kg, breaking through the roof of the house, did not explode and “stopped” on the ground floor.
“In the Chernihiv direction, the railway tracks and the nearby territories to them, the vicinity of Chernihiv and other settlements were surveyed. 557 explosive objects were found, including the FAP-500 aerial bomb, TM 62M anti-tank mines, artillery shells with a caliber of 122 and 152 mm.
As assured in the State Special Transport Service, the discovered explosive objects were defused.
