The goal is to launch the first commercial Ace4Rail train in 2028. The offering from Ace4Rail GmbH, based in Basel-Stadt, is targeted at railway operators across Europe, as reported by the railway magazine Railway Supply, citing Ace4Rail.

Modern Railway Vehicles for Passenger Transport

The range of services includes the full rental of modern railway vehicles for passenger transport, with a particular focus on passenger trains hauled by locomotives. The offering includes comprehensive service and insurance maintenance.

Ace4Rail is currently in negotiations with potential first customers and is also inviting all interested parties to get in touch. The vehicle concept has been technically confirmed, and the financial structure has been established.

Overhaul and restoring repair of traction units

Ace4Rail offers flexible servicing of trains of selected sizes with locomotive-wagon sets.

Thanks to a well-thought-out modular system, the interior can be adapted to the needs of the railway operator.

Modern Railway Vehicles for Passenger Transport

Ace4Rail also stands for “access for all” to the railway system, aiming to provide autonomous travel for people with reduced mobility (PRM).

Exceeding the requirements of the European TSI PRM, the vehicles offer single-level access to platforms at heights of 55 cm and 76 cm, as well as flat ramps of up to 6% inside the vehicle.
