Last weekend Czech private carrier RegioJet received three more Traxx multisystem locomotives from the Bombardier plant in Kassel. They were purchased for transportation in Central Europe. At the moment, the fleet of RegioJet rolling stock has five Traxx units. They are undergoing test trips in the Czech Republic. At the moment, the mileage is over 60 thousand km.

The Czech carrier wants to standardize its multisystem locomotive fleet, which in the future will only consist of Traxx locomotives. Siemens Vectron locomotives, which are currently in operation, are planned to be gradually withdrawn from the fleet.

RegioJet also won an auction for the purchase of 29 used Deutsche Bahn railcars, adapted to a speed of 200 km/h.
