Rail partizans from Belarus received 20 years in prison

In Belarus, three Belarusians accused of sabotaging the railway, along which trains with Russian military equipment went to participate in the war in Ukraine, received more than 20 years in prison each. Such a verdict was handed down by the Gomel Regional Court on December 27. It is reported by Railway Supply magazine with reference to Espreso.tv.
Denis Dikun received 23 years in a penal colony, Dmitry Ravich – 22 years in prison, and Oleg Molchanov – 21 years. Also, each was fined 4,800 Belarusian rubles, and their belongings was confiscated during the search.
Railway infrastructure damaged in Kryvyi Rig district
According to investigators, Dikun, Ravich and Molchanov, three residents of Svyatogorsk, Gomel region, on February 28 set fire to a relay box at the Zherd-Ostankovichi railway line (Gomel region). That is why traffic lights and turnouts stopped working at the site, which could lead to a disruption in the schedule of trains with weapons and military equipment of the Russian armed forces for the war in Ukraine.
All three were detained in Svetlogorsk on March 4 and charged under several articles (participation in an extremist group, terrorism, treason).
