Queensland Rail has partnered with Nomad Digital to bring cutting-edge WiFi services to its new six-car Electric Multiple Units (EMUs). These trains are being built by Hyundai Rotem and Downer Rail at a dedicated facility in Torbanlea, Fraser Coast.

This partnership is part of the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP), an initiative designed to strengthen the region’s transport capacity ahead of significant population growth and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Passengers will benefit from high-speed Queensland Rail WiFi as they travel across the region, transforming commutes into connected experiences and aligning with global smart mobility trends.
